2026 DINNER PARTICIPANT
Elijah Tatum
It is my honor to write this letter of recommendation for Elijah Tatum in support of his Nomination for the N-SPIRE Youth Foundation Suited & Booted Graduation Dinner. Elijah is the embodiment of what it means to be a well-rounded and committed young man. Not only is he a stellar athlete, but he is also a dedicated scholar in the classroom. He consistently demonstrates discipline, focus, and a strong work ethic in all that he does. Elijah shows up each day ready to contribute, learn, and improve-qualities that set him apart from his peers.
What stands out most about Elijah is his growth. Each year that I have had the opportunity to work with him, I have seen him evolve-not only as an athlete and a student, but as a young man of character. He continues to raise his own standards, taking pride in his development both academically and personally. He is respectful, dependable, and leads by example, making a positive impact on those around him.
Elijah Tatum represents the type of individual who will not only benefit from the N-SPIRE Youth Foundation's support but also reflect its mission with integrity and excellence. I am confident that he will continue to grow, lead, and succeed in any environment he is placed in.

2026 DINNER PARTICIPANT
JASON SPRUIELL JR.
It is my honor to nominate Jason Spruiell Jr. to be a part of Suited & Booted. Early on, Jason believed the program was only for students in trouble. Over time, he has come to understand its true purpose, and this opportunity will allow him to experience it firsthand. His journey is a powerful example of what can be achieved with a positive mindset and determination.
Jason C. Spruiell Jr. is the son of Jason and Sonya Spruiell Sr. and a senior at Jefferson City High School. He has grown from a shy child into a well-rounded and confident young man. His positive attitude and approach to challenges truly set him apart.
Jason has been actively involved in athletics, serving as captain of the basketball team and competing in track. Outside of school, he enjoys gardening, riding his bike, and spending time with friends. He is also a dedicated member of FFA (Future Farmers of America), where he currently serves as Sentinel.
Academically, Jason is a member of the National Honor Society and has earned numerous honors, including the JC Holiday Hoops Academic All-Tournament Team Award for four consecutive years, the Green Thumb Award, and multiple recognitions through FFA.
Often referred to as a “Gentle Giant” because of his stature and kind demeanor, Jason is respected by peers and staff alike. He was also honored as the 2025 Homecoming King at Jefferson City High School, an achievement that reflects both his character and the high regard in which he is held.

2026 DINNER PARTICIPANT
ZACH BARNES
Academically, Zachary Barnes has excelled at the highest level, maintaining an impressive 3.98 GPA while balancing the demanding schedule of a student-athlete. This achievement reflects not only intelligence but also exceptional time management, commitment, and personal responsibility. He consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic in the classroom and approaches every challenge with maturity and determination.
On the football field, Zach has proven to be an outstanding athlete and teammate. He leads by example through hard work, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Coaches and teammates respect his leadership, positive attitude, and willingness to put the team first. Whether during practice, competition, or in difficult situations, Zach displays composure, resilience, and character that set him apart.
What makes Zach especially impressive is the balance between athletic success and academic excellence. Many students succeed in one area; few maintain such a high standard in both. His ability to excel under pressure speaks volumes about his character and future potential.
I am confident that Zach will honor your foundation and be proud of what it accomplishes. He possesses the leadership, integrity, and determination necessary to succeed at the collegiate level and beyond.
Zach plans to attend Tallahassee State College for two years, then transfer to Florida State University, where he will earn a Bachelor's Degree and complete the Air Force ROTC program, commissioning as an officer in the Air Force to serve our country as a Fighter Pilot.
I give Zach Barnes my highest recommendation without reservation. Please feel free to contact me if you need any additional information.
Sincerely,
Charles and Rhonda Jones

Marcus will attend Graceland University in Iowa in the Fall of 2026 and compete as a Graceland Yellowjacket Football player. In the words of Marcus’ head basketball coach, Coach Ryan Fick: “Marcus is the motor of our team, he brings energy, intensity, and leadership on both ends of the floor…he was just so consistent, Mr. Consistency. Marcus always set the tone for us in terms of competitiveness. He was very passionate, and his drive is what made this team succeed. I'm proud of the example he set for everyone around him.”
Thank you for your consideration, and I believe he would be a great addition to this year’s event and deserving of this opportunity.
